What we do

One crew for
the whole exterior

Roof repair, roof replacement, storm restoration, siding and gutters, handled by the same crew. One lifted shingle or a full tear-off, it is the same phone number.

01 Roof Replacement When repairs stop being worth it, the old roof comes off down to the deck. Soft decking gets replaced instead of covered, then the assembly is rebuilt: underlayment, valley membrane, drip edge, flashing and ventilation. 02 Roof Repair Active leaks, missing or creased shingles, failed flashing and worn pipe boots. We trace water back to where it actually gets in, which is almost never directly above the stain on your ceiling. 03 Storm & Hail Damage Wind creasing and hail bruising assessed after a storm, emergency tarping where the roof is open to weather, and every finding photographed so your carrier has something specific to work from. 04 Siding Single-panel repairs after storm damage or a full re-side. The weather barrier, trim, soffit and fascia behind the panels get checked and put back properly, so the wall stays dry. 05 Gutters Seamless aluminum gutters, sized, pitched and hung so runoff leaves the house. Water that is not carried clear ends up in the fascia, then the siding, then the foundation. 06 Insurance Restoration Storm damage documented in detail, the findings shown to your adjuster on the roof, and the approved scope built. You and your carrier decide what is covered. We build what is approved.

An inspection only tells you something if someone gets up there. Here is what we check when we do, and you get the photographs either way.

Shingles
Lifted tabs, wind creasing, and granules washing into the gutter.
Flashing
Chimneys, walls and valleys. Most leaks start here, not out in the open field.
Penetrations
Vent collars and pipe boots. The rubber cracks and pulls away years before the shingles are finished.
Hail
Bruising you can feel underfoot but rarely see from the ground. An adjuster needs it found and marked before it can be considered.
Decking
Soft spots underfoot. We replace them rather than cover them.
Gutters & fascia
Whether the water is actually getting clear of the house, or running down the back of the board.
Attic
Daylight, stains and ventilation, checked from underneath.
Siding & trim
Wind and hail do not stop at the roofline, so the walls get looked at too.

Every finding photographed and written up. You get the photographs and the notes, so you can see what we saw and decide what to do with the actual condition of your roof in front of you.

Scheduled around you. Landscaping and windows get protected before anything comes off, and soft decking is replaced when we find it rather than shingled over.

Walk-through

We clean up, run a magnet over the yard and drive for nails, and walk the finished work with you before we leave. The paperwork closes out with the roof.

Ringo Roofing Restoration Expert LLC is a roofing and exterior restoration company working across the 252. Roofs, siding and gutters are all handled by the same crew, so when a storm takes shingles off the roof and cracks the siding underneath it, one company sorts out both.

Weather here has its own habits. Hurricane season pushes wind and rain in off the sound, summer storms drop hail that leaves bruising you cannot see from the ground, and the towns along the Tar and the Neuse have been through enough named storms that most homeowners already know roughly what a claim looks like. That is what shapes the list of things we check when we go up.

The part most homeowners cannot do for themselves is the documentation: getting on the roof safely and recording what is there, component by component, with dates and photographs. That part is ours.
